Australian Nationals 2-4th November at Sydney Dragway
Friday was a fairly sunny but windy day at the creek, 3 qualifiers gave us the 2nd place position of 11.139.
Saturday gave us morning showers until about midday. Racing started and there were a few short showers in the first hour then racing resumed. We were to run our 1st round at 6.30 pm but a revised shedule made our 1st eliminations on Sunday morning. Racing finished at 11.00pm on Saturday night, all group 1 qualifiers completed. A great effort from racers, spectators and track staff all of who just hung in there, it was a long day for all.
Sunday brought us a mild sunny day. 1st round at 10am and we advanced to the 2nd round at 11 am, a successful round 2 put us off to the semis at 3.30pm in front of a great crowd and atmosphere . I left the line with a .022 light to a .104 light, a holeshot start to the race but unfortunately ran a 11.05 on a 11.10 dial in, resulting in a break out.
