BRIERLEY RACE REPORT – EAST COAST MX RD 2

Round 2 – East Coast MX Series – 8/03/2014

Hi All,

Saturday saw the second round of the East Coast Motocross championship head to ACT MCC. Great weather greeted us all at the start of the day. Having never ridden the track before, the practice and first race were tough for Mitch and Josh finishing 15^th and 22^nd respectively. Lunchtime had the heavens open and rain drowned the complex for the second race of the day. This though had the boys offroading ability for any conditions come out to shine with Josh finishing in 6^th and Mitch after a fall while running in 3^rd finishing in 12^th position. Racing was then cancelled after race 2. Boys results for the day had Josh in 11^th and Mitch in 12^th. A great effort.

Both boys were happy with the results given the conditions and are looking forward to the first rounds of the Australian Offroad Championships and NSW Sprint and Cross Country Championships on the weekend of 22 & 23 of March at Bulahdelah.
