Australian SuperMoto Championships

I had a great time racing over the weekend in Newcastle at the foreshore for the Aussie SuperMoto Championships. The event was run over the 2 days with practice, qualifying and the first round on the Saturday and 3 rounds on Sunday. I claimed a great spot in the pits on the Friday afternoon when I got there to check the track out. The track was awesome: racing down Wharf Road through the car park and onto the dirt section in the park which was different/challenging to what I am used to. The event drew crowds of 20,000 plus and during lunch on Sunday promotional bags went like hotcakes. I entered in the women’s open class and placed 6th overall, thanks for your support.
