We arrived at Gunnedah early after leaving about 4am to find a line up out the driveway & around the corner. We all got our paperwork done quickly & practice got underway not long after 10am.
There was a lot of bikes & big HP cars compared to the last couple of meetings so a big weekend was on the cards.
The weather was good except for a bit of wind both days, this helped get a good number of spectators who all enjoyed some good racing & skillful saves/steering with so many cars struggling for traction.
Despite the Torana failing to make it to the eliminations (Paul got 6 runs in beforehand) due to the flywheel shearing teeth off & then being unable to start it, we had a good weekend all the same.
