Round 2 – East Coast MX Series – 8/03/2014

“The 2nd round of the East Coast Series started off with great weather and the track was rutting up nicely. My 1st moto saw me with a bad gate but I made the most out of it and came out in 5th and brought myself into 2nd place by the 3rd corner. I had a solid race and came in 2nd position.
By the second moto the weather had changed for the worst with a thunderstorm causing the track to turn to complete mud with some parts unrideable. Coming up to the start of my race the weather had not eased off at all but I again made the most of the situation and got a great hole shot to slip back to 3rd from the mud, and then straight back to 1st position. I was riding the mud with great speed and on the 2nd last lap my back wheel slipped out of a rut and I went down, I came in 2nd place.
The day was called off after two rounds and this saw me take out 2nd place.
