Round 1 – NSW State Titles – Cessnock
30th March – 1st April 2013
Race 1: I came out of the gates with a very bad start, boxed in and came out in 10th, I worked my way back to 4th position I held this position to the end, the racing was very fast and intense.
Race 2: On the line and felt great, again not a good start. Came into 4th on the 1st lap then charged for the 3rd position, which took me a few more laps to get to. The track was roughing up and the racing was still super fast. I came in 3rd position.
Race 3: Gates drop another bad start, first straight made up some ground to get to 5th position track even rougher and racing still as fast. I made a pass on 4th and then 3rd. Charging down the back straight and fell back into 4th position. This race was very intense from the start to the finish. I came in 4th.
Overall Result 3rd
My day was consistent and I felt my starts could have been a lot better, something I will be working on. Thanks for the support.
