Rd3 NSW STATE TITLES
6TH & 7TH JUNE
Round 3 of the NSW State Titles was held at Port Macquarie.
Day 1 was on my 125. The track I felt the corners were wet which made it rough & deep. My starts all day felt really good with two hole shots in the first two races. The third race I got tangled up in the first corner I went down and a riders foot was caught up in my frame. This held me back with last, I went through the pack and brought it home in 7th place. With a 2 – 2 – 7 the day was average but received enough points to podium 3rd overall for the day.
Day 2 was on my 85 the track was in great condition and I felt strong. With 3 hole shots from 3 starts, I came into the last race in equal 1st position with Riley. It was a great race seeing us up close and battling, after a few mistakes I brought it home in 2nd. After a 2 – 1 – 2 this gave me 2nd Overall for the day.
