JY ROBERTS RACE REPORT
7-8TH FEB 2015 EAST COAST SERIES RD 1
LAKES MBC
Round 1 of the East Coast Series was held at Lakes Motor Bike Club.
The track was in great condition and held up great through out the day.
Today was my first Open race meet back from injury and I went into this race knowing I would be off pace due to recovery and fitness.
Race 1 on the 85cc I was in the lead until I got a flat front tyre with 4 laps to go I stayed out on the track to bring in some points for the series, I came in 11th.
Race 2 on the 85cc I came in 1st place but felt off the pace.
Race 3 on the 85cc I came in 2nd and was comfortable doing this.
OVERALL 2nd
I raced my 125 just to get back into racing and I didn’t feel at my best. I’m stepping up my fitness training of the bike and feel over the next few months I will be back better then before.
