Round 1 – Victorian Junior Motocross Championship 23/03/2014

This weekend saw us travel the distance to Warrnambool so I could compete in the 1st round of the Victorian State Titles. I competed in the 12- 16years 85cc Big Wheels A Grade class.
I rolled into the track not knowing what to expect, the track looked slick and fast.
I went out in practice and had a good look around and then came in and felt confident and was looking forward to a great day of racing.
1st Moto I got the hole shot and was taken by second place, I stayed on him for two laps then took the pass and rode to the finish line in 1st place.
2nd Moto Again a great hole shot and lead the race to the finish line.
3rd Moto Wow another Hole shot but I didn’t have it all my way this race and had to battle from lap 2, I was holding my position in first and then was taken by second place but I quickly regained my 1st place position and was fighting to the end when on the last jump I was taken by second place just coming over the finish line. I finished in 2nd but I enjoyed this race, as it was a fight to the end.
Overall I finished in 1st Position
Looking forward to their upcoming 2nd round in Swan Hill.
