We picked up the finished front end on Friday, it looks a bit over the top but Efrem (from EF Composites) said my brief was “It had to be more aerodynamic”, not look good. I’m sure once it is painted it will not stand out so much but as long as it works I will be happy – a bonus is that it is half the weight of the old front.
So after we race at Gunnedah this weekend the Torana will be going on the hoist until it is ready for the “Snowy Mountains 1000”. Side skirts/rear wing to complete the aerodynamics and some weight reduction if possible.
