After being pulled down to be set up for ‘Snowy Mountains 1000’ last November – new fiberglass front, suspension/diff upgrades, rear wing, engine and seat – we got carried away with what we were doing and having a number of things just not fitting out of the box as expected we were finally ready to fire up the new 372 SBC on Saturday, 3 months later! The initial start-up had a couple of cylinders down due to air locks in fuel lines but after we got rid of them she sounded sweet. Now we have a hundred little shit things to do before Day of the Drags on Sunday, but the entry fee is paid so we have to get them done and at least get a few test runs in. So keep an eye out for some Go Pro footage next week.
At least it will be ready for Snowy Mountains 1000 this year…
