2014 CAMS NSW Formula Race Car Championship – Round 2
Sydney Motorsport Park – 17/18th May 2014
A reasonably successful weekend of racing, qualified 4th, then in race one I finished second. The second race I was across the line in 3rd position but they had judged I had got a too good of a start, grrrr! At least with us we only get a 5 second penalty, so back to 4th I went, none of that red light stuff!
Although we thought our weekend was over on Friday afternoon as she locked herself between two gears. So we had to strip the gearbox, found nothing so to the crown wheel and pinion we went, again nothing. Put it all back together and had no problems. Strange indeed!
Also, we put a few stickers on the car and here it is in its new colours.
