Hi-Tec Oils Snowy Mountains 1000
Snowy Mountains Airport
8-9th Nov 2013
We had a good weekend trying not to be the slowest car there and managed to make it 3rd slowest, good result for the big chev. Congratulations to the winners, it’s a big effort to get a car to an event like this and to win anything is no easy feat. We’ll be back next year for sure with the Torana and hopefully it won’t be the 3rd slowest car! We stayed at the Australian Hotel at Cooma, the food and hospitality was excellent but the snoring was a bit ordinary, ha just ask Al…
We originally planned to hold a little Cancer Council raffle at the Snowy Mountains 1000 but it turned into much more…
We have to say a huge thank you to:
*Joe Giampaolo – Corvette ZR1
*James Hodge – Lamborghini Gallardo
*Sebastian Giampaolo – Ferrari 458
*Brian Haines – Nissan GTR
*Adam Kaplan – Pagani Zonda
They kindly offered to put up rides in their exotic cars at lunchtime to help us raise money.
Another huge THANK YOU to Adam and Angela for supporting our fundraiser and going out of their way to make sure it was a success, and everyone who donated such great prizes in the raffle.
Finally thank you to every person that purchased a charity ride or bought raffle tickets, we are very grateful.
We raised $3256.69 for the Cancer Council Australia and we’re thrilled!
Next year will hopefully be bigger and better :-)
