Australian Off-Road Championship
Sept 6th Round 11 and Sept 7th Round 12
Hi All,
The final rounds of the Australian Offroad Championships were run on the weekend at Heathcote, Victoria. Both boys had a great weekends riding with some close racing.
I am proud to say though that for the 3rd year in a row they have taken the 1st and 2nd positions. They stepped up to the Junior 2 big wheel class this year and have done themselves proud for the effort they have put in. Josh taking out the Aussie title in fine style with a consistently fast year. Mitch coming in 2nd only 15 points behind. Both boys were very happy with their riding and results for the championship and look forward to next year’s battle again.
Sunday night was the presentation for the championship and the boys both welcomed the opportunity to thank all those that have helped them achieve their goals for the year. Also the opportunity for the 3 members of the Kawasaki KX Junior Squad that contested the AORC to celebrate together as we have enjoyed a great team spirit all year with our Pit presence and help.
The results also wouldn’t be possible without the help of so many great people. Powerplus Racing Fuels is an outstanding Australian made product. The Powerplus 99+ has had the little 2 strokes running clean and crisp and has been well worthwhile. Thanks to Martin at Powerplus NSW, the NSW distributor.
