HISTORIC ENGINE POWERED BY 105+

Former Speedway racer Gordon Benny rang last week wanting some Powerplus fuel for his Offenhauser static display engine (pictured) and he decided on Powerplus 105+.

This display engine is the last engine ever personally built by Fred Offenhauser in 1939 before the war, it’s a 98 cubic inch 4cyl twin overhead cam engine. This particular engine was first purchased by Ted Halibrand, the founder of Halibrand Wheels, so this engine has some real history attached to it.

Great to see Gordon keeping this engine in pristine condition for future generations to enjoy. It was a pleasure to meet him and be able to provide our fuel for this historic engine.
