EXCITING NEWS FOR MEGHAN RUTLEDGE

“Hi Martin,

Thank you for your help and support.

I have been offered a bike to ride at the remaining rounds of the FIM Women’s World Championship in Europe. It has been my goal for many years to one day be the World Champion so on the 31st May I will be heading to Europe to attempt to achieve this goal. I will be riding for Rockstar Bud Racing Kawasaki in Europe and also for Xgames in the USA.

I will be returning to Australia in time for the next round of the MX Nationals for the MXD class at Appin and will also compete at the Swan Hill round, but unfortunately I will not be able to compete at the other rounds. I am currently sitting in 15th position in this series and hope to improve that at Appin. I will still be competing at the Australian Womens Motocross Championship, plus the Supercross and Arenacross Championships.

Looking forward to your continued support.

RD 4 MX Nationals – Broadford, VIC – 19th May 2013

Had a bad start to Round 4 of the MX Nationals, braking my clutch cable on the first lap of practice/qualifying. Race one didn’t really go my way either I had a bad start then crashed and managed to get tangled in the bike. Race two was much better, getting a good start and finishing 12th. Overall I’m really happy with the way I rode and still sitting in 15th for the series.
