RACE REPORT: JY ROBERTS
RD 1 EAST COAST MX SERIES – LAKES MCC
At the first round of the EAST COAST SERIES held at Lakes, Jy contended in the Big Wheel 85 class and for the first time he also competed in the 125 class.
The 1st race on his 85 saw him get a great start and got a front flat tyre in the second corner of the first lap. Jy rode the whole race with a front flat and brought it in 11th. Race 2 he rode a great race and came in 2nd, with Race 3 he didn’t get a great start and brought this race in 2nd also.
Overall on the 85 – 4th
His first 125 race saw Jy up against a very strong field and he got great starts in all three races. Race 1 he came in 4th, Race 2 he came in 12th and Race 3 he came in 9th.
Overall on the 125 – 9th
With 4 rounds to go Jy feels he can bring his points up in both classes and is looking forward to the challenge.
